I also now have Max on my home comp as well. There are some graphic difference bewteen this install and the laptop install that I have. It's more "pretty!" haha 

After messing with it for about an hour, I finally got my Laptop on the home network. I could use the internet wirelessly way before that. My dad just had to put my mac address in. It turns out I had a bunch of network related services turned off on my laptop. That is why I could connect properly. DUH JOE! Now I am copying my files I need from laptop just fine.

I got Microsoft Max only because the people on mac websites who hadn't tried it yet were already bitching about it. I had to get it after all the crap talk they said about it. They hadn't even tried it yet?!
